EQUESTRIAN SPECIAL OLYMPICS 

The participants come through the Regional Lunenburg-Queens Special Olympics members.

Equestrian Sport is recognized by 47 countries around the world
but Canada doesn’t (YET) recognize Equestrian Sport for Special Olympics.

​

There are now groups in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and now Nova Scotia.

​

There is a Memorandum of Understanding with Special Olympics Nova Scotia
and the Society of Equine-Assisted Services Nova Scotia for the pilot project.

​

Funding must come from SEASNS not the Nova Scotia Special Olympics.

The Equestrian Special Olympics Athletes are planning fundraising to help SEASNS keep their program going….
